Went to the DVD shop today, and was reminded how updated the movies were in Shanghai - the good quality DVDs (DVD-9) for Memoirs of a Geisha to Jarhead, among others were there. Hmmm, perhaps it is more of a reflection of how slowly the movies are released in the UK? I'm now watching LOST season 2! The show hasn't even finished playing in the states and the available episodes are already on DVD here (actually I discovered that they are all recordings of the TV versions).
